We have successfully completed Ayumi’s X-ray examination
We are very happy to share some wonderful news. Our female Ayumi Dědictví Athabasky has successfully undergone an X-ray examination of her musculoskeletal system and received the best possible evaluation of her X-ray results.
We decided to carry out an extended examination and, in addition to the mandatory hip dysplasia evaluation (DKK), we also added an elbow dysplasia examination (DLK) and an LTV examination. In dogs, LTV means the radiographic assessment of the lumbosacral transitional vertebra. This evaluates a possible spinal anomaly in the area where the lumbar spine transitions into the sacrum.
All examinations came back with excellent results.
The evaluation was as follows:
- DKK: A/A
- DLK: 0/0
- LTV: 0
- Number of lumbar vertebrae: L7 – normal finding
These results are very important to us, not only as confirmation of Ayumi’s excellent health condition, but also as another significant step in responsible breeding of the Czech Mountain Dog. Health, temperament and functionality are the core values on which we want to build our breeding work.
Ayumi has therefore reached another important milestone, and we are truly delighted with her results.
