For our kennel Dědictví Athabasky, the weekend event — the Czech Championship and Breed Championship held on November 1–2 — was quite an experience. Saturday’s sunshine during the canicross races turned into a proper mud bath on Sunday, and we’re of course thrilled with the results.

We’re incredibly proud of our daughter Stella, who, as the only representative of the Czech Mountain Dog, fought her way to **2nd place overall** among all mushing breeds — with Ayumi Dědictví Athabasky running her very first race. (Dad will have to step up!)
