Last weekend, an intensive training camp of the South Bohemian Rescue Brigade of Cynologists took place near Přední Výtoň in the Lipno region. Handlers and their four-legged partners practiced skills essential for searching for missing persons in challenging terrain.
The traditional event attracted participants from various parts of the country – including representatives of the Dědictví Athabasky Kennel, who entered their talented female, Akira Dědictví Athabasky, into the training.
Akira, from our “A” litter, had the opportunity to take part in specialized exercises focused on locating missing persons in forest environments. Her participation confirms the working potential of our breeding program and demonstrates that the Czech Mountain Dog also has a place in rescue dog work.
The camp focused on practical search scenarios in wooded terrain, team coordination, and simulations of real rescue situations. For both young and experienced dogs, it represented a valuable experience and an important step forward in their training.
We are proud that our breeding can actively contribute to activities with real social impact. Akira Dědictví Athabasky represented not only her handler but also our kennel.
